my parents really wanted to name me Charlotte but the post-communist government said it was “too Western”and forced a “localized” version - Charlota. when I turned 15 my parents gave me the fee money to finally change the name before I get my first ID. I bought a ticket to music festival instead. So I live as a typo between Charlotte and Carlota ever since.
