Credit-Based → Uncollateralized Loans Coming to Fluid
Fluid will borrow $5M USDC/USDT and deposit it into a new DEX built on Fluid.
The new DEX Lite will capture MEV that Fluid DEX couldn't, generating additional fees accelerating the path to $10M annual revenue for $FLUID buybacks.
It's just a start: The DAO could vote to issue more credit to reputable institutions, MMs, etc., which will boost lending yields to depositors.
In this DEX case, if the protocol takes any losses, the team will cover them from its own funds.
Bullish.

Huge winners and potential new runners this early stage alt-season:
First, congratz to:
- $PENGU, Pudgies, and @LucaNetz: That crazy $PENGU up by 10x since early April
- @MustStopMurad: His story telling pumped #SPX86000 by 8K% in a year
- $ENA: Stayed quiet for months but pumped by 120% thanks to adopting the new meta on time.
- $ETH: Many buried for dead. But TradFi bros did what crypto natives couldn't
Notable mentions: $XTZ, $XLM, and $HBAR 2x'ed in a month. How are they still alive.
What else I missed?
-----
What will do well next is a billion dollar question:
- Runes & Ordinals? Already seeing bullish signs
- Alts that copy $ENA with TradFi companies buying alts? Which projects can pull it off
- New TGEs & airdrops: Polymarket, Farcaster, OpenSea, Metam&sk, Linea, Monad, MegaETH... Loads of money to be made here.
Just chilling times are ending much faster than I thought.
Time to lock-in.

My first ever viral thread: putting me from 300 to 3k followers in two days.
I put a week's of work into it. And continued to ship two threads per week of high quality content for months.
Wonder if ROI of such time investment is still worth for X content?

1/ What's next for #DeFi?🤔
I researched roadmaps of 25 major protocols to find out.
A lot is coming up: protocol-owned-stablecoins, new tokenomics, decentralization plans, The End Game for Maker and more.
These are the top 7 trends coming for DeFi 🧵

$FLUID should catch up with $CRV
- TVL: Fluid $1.5B vs Curve $2.5b
- Trading volumes: Fluid does 2x the Curve volumes
- Monthly fees: Fluid generates $5.37m vs Curve's $1.9m
At $10m annualized revenue, $FLUID will start buy backs. That number is $6,6m now.
I love Curve, but FLUID seems a better bet now.
Disclaimer: I hold loads of FLUID

A little late but this is actually a very interesting take.
It would mean that governance tokens of L2s would follow ETH price + it would permit you to leverage the sequencer revenue on top of the ETH exposure.
$ARB currently has a $2.3b mcap while having only $30M of ETH.
For $OP it's even worse, it has a $1.2b mcap while having as low as $200k of ETH(ouch).
It will finally allow for L2 tokens to be investable even though it will hurt a bit at the beginning. Being dumped on retails are their only utility currently, so let's change that to serve the DAO.
I remember a proposal to give 50% of the sequencer fees to $ARB holders but it didn't seem to succeed.
