It is hard to get your head around how stupendously large an electricity user a 2-5 gigawatt data center represents.
A 5 gigawatt data center consumes on the order of 40 million megawatt-hours of electricity per year, as much electricity as the ENTIRE STATE of Nevada or Kansas!

Here's another prime example of the Trump Admin. & GOP allies in Washington actively working AGAINST an all of the above energy strategy. American electricity bills are already rising. Blocking new affordable electricity will make that worse. The Grain Belt Express line has the capacity to move five nuclear reactors worth of power. Killing it is insane.
