One of the biggest things I’ve learned in the last 5 years of having my own legal practice is that it is OKAY TO SAY NO. Narrowing down my focus and not accepting every client has made all the difference in the world. There really is power in having the ability to say NO.

For example - many clients ask for BVI entity creations. I can’t do it directory, so I used to middle man between a client and a firm that can. The juice wasn’t worth the squeeze and now I send them to the firm directly. There are MANY such cases. Know your limits.
