It breaks my heart to see what’s going on in this beautiful country right now. England. The UK. This great nation built on hard graft, community, and pride….. it’s struggling. People are hurting. Families are feeling the cost of living like never before. Bills through the roof. Small businesses that have been around for generations are closing their doors. People are working harder than ever and still barely scraping by. And that ain’t right. I was in Portugal last week, I went to the shop and got two pints of milk, some biscuits for the kids, and a box of cigarettes. Nine euros. Back home in the UK, that same shop would be nearly £25. That ain’t just a little difference ……. that’s daylight robbery. And it leaves you wondering… what on earth is going on here? But here’s the thing: even through the chaos, I still believe in this country with all my heart. I believe in the people. I believe in the grafters who wake up every morning and crack on, no matter what. I believe in the mums and dads doing everything they can to give their kids a better life. I believe in the community spirit that’s still alive in our streets, even if the media tries to divide us. And I’ll say this loud and clear!! There is nothing wrong with being proud of where you’re from. There’s nothing extreme about flying your flag and loving your country. That’s not far-right, that’s just pride. That’s respect for your roots. That’s standing tall for the generations before us who fought for our freedom, and for the future we’re building for our kids. We’re British. We’ve been through worse and come out stronger. We’ve got that spirit, the strong upper lip, the unstoppable graft, the ability to face the storm and still put the kettle on. And that’s what we’ve got to keep doing. We need to rise above the noise. Stop letting social media and the news divide us. We need unity. We need love. We need to look after one another, help our neighbours, support our local businesses, and never lose that spark that makes Britain… Britain. Better days are coming. But it starts with us. With the people. With unity. With heart. This country has been through wars, recessions, and hardships and we’ve always bounced back because we’ve got backbone. We’ve got community. We’ve got love. So I’m saying this, not as a politician, not as someone who is on television every now and then, just as a proud British bloke who loves this country and its people… so let’s stand together. Let’s bring back the pride, the passion, and the power of the people. Let’s build each other up, not tear each other down. Let’s never stop loving this land, and never stop fighting for a better future. Because we are the UK. We are Great Britain. And we are strongest when we stand together.
