Another night of violence in Limoges, France, Late last night, the police were called to respond to a stolen vehicle set on fire, which turned out to be a deliberate ambush. A group of 100 to 150 masked individuals, armed with iron bars, fireworks, stones, and Molotov cocktails, attacked the police, leading to 3 hours of intense clashes. The unrest involved barricades set up along the RN 141 road, attacks on civilian vehicles, and projectiles launched from buildings. The mayor of Limoges, Émile Roger Lombertie, described the events as “organized urban guerrilla warfare,” pointing to a group of 150 youths engaging in coordinated lawlessness. The international mainstream media won’t write about it, but 2nd and 3rd generation immigrant gangs have been organizing similar ambushes on violent attacks on police officers and firemen for decades in France. Similar attacks also take place regularly in Sweden.
