Trump thinks people are following him. No, they're following an idea. That someone could take on the establishment and the elites and set an unjust system right. I never believed he was that guy, but I understand the frustration that led people to believe that he was. But now when he does the same thing as the rest of the elites, it's a mask off moment for him. His base is not interested in another slick politician pretending to be one of them and then not delivering. That's what they were rebelling against.
