Never thought M&A would be in the cards, but they also say to Never say never.   @monad_xyz's acquisition of @portal_hq is an illustration of finding shared vision... and not just through the shared vision of global enablement of stablecoin adoption! Throughout many conversations with the Portal team, I'd been continually struck by their thoughtful leadership and approach to building a strong team, culture, and missional drive that complemented that of Monad Foundation. I'm incredibly excited to welcome @rajparekh_ as Head of Payments and Stablecoins to the Monad Foundation team, where his leadership will be instrumental in shaping the growth of the Monad ecosystem! Nellie and @HarryAlford3 have also joined Monad Foundation as part of the global Business Development team. Lastly, I welcome @ParsaAttari, @rami__shahatit, David, and Kelson to the wider Monad Foundation family as they continue to lead the efforts at Portal.  Portal will continue to operate independently as a stablecoin infrastructure provider powering millions of dollars of daily stablecoin settlement that enables web2 companies to deploy stablecoin infrastructure to any app. The combination of Monad's high-throughput onchain tech and Portal's powerful payments SDKs means more access and better enablement of stablecoins worldwide.  If you're interested in stablecoins whether it be on Monad or in general, pls reach out!
