How to grow your account.
I want to pre-face this by saying I don't know what I'm talking about and it's not like I have some 100k account or anything, this is just my basic general take on things.
In no order of importance:
1) Get twitter blue tick
2) Schedule your posts for optimal timezones, my main audience are from the US (sup kings) so my preferred time to tweet a big piece will be in my late evening.
This will hit West Coast US early evening, East Coast afternoon (lunch break phone scrolling) + my fellow UK and Europe peeps in their evening - a lot of Nigerian brothers at that time as well.
You can check your audience mindshare in the X Premium tab.
3) Shit posting is ok - humour is funny. But be sporadic.
4) Don't be afraid to say 'naughty' words like retard or something. It's funny, it's meant as a joke, it should be taken as a joke and this increases authenticity. Don't be fake, it's boring and everyone is like that. Be real, people value that in a world of fakery.
5) Post valuable stuff. Post something that's educational or, mainly, something whereby someone can make money - like airdrop or DeFi opportunities - or projects you think will do well that haven't launched yet or are undervalued.
6) Have interesting takes, this + education requires deep understanding of crypto. If you don't have that yet, give it a year. Read, learn - form an actual opinion.
7) Don't be a pussy. Don't be afraid to say: this team is greedy or they're scammy, just because you might upset someone which might affect your ability to 'make money by networking' - miss me with that, that's gross.
8) Don't promote fucking scams to make money FFS lol - make money in this space by being competent, not by being a sleeze bag, YOUR FRIENDS ARE NOT EXIT LIQUIDITY. Make your money yourself, not by being a shady douche - back yourself.
9) Don't just post content so YOU can make money from Kaito or whatever - some of that is absolutely fine, we're all here to make a bag, we all have bills to pay etc. - but if that's all your account is, guess what, you look desperate and untrustworthy.
10) Experiment with your style of writing, try threads, try longer form pieces. Break up your text with pictures or quotations - no one likes big walls of text to read.
My account isn't very big compared to some, but I'm grateful for all the engagement I get + my followers. It wasn't always like this though, I used to have 1k followers and spent my days talking about Ethereum and Bitcoin with little to no engagement. It's taken 3 years to get where I am now.
Be patient. Patient:

Hope this helps someone
