II. Crypto has been waiting for its "iPhone moment," and AI is it. To me, crypto has always felt like an incomplete revolution. "What do you mean?" I mean, it's a powerful idea with great potential but still needs a transformative PMF beyond speculation.

III. Yes, Bitcoin created sovereign money and DeFi built a parallel financial system, but their adoption remains niche, with fewer than 2% of users using it for anything beyond speculation. AI is the catalyst that will transform crypto from a speculative playground into an essential infrastructure for humanity, just as the iPhone made the internet indispensable for billions.

IV. Centralized AI is headed for 5 unsolvable srises. The explosive, accelerating growth of AI is exposing deep flaws in the current centralized infrastructure (i.e., big tech and cloud providers). "Are they prepared for what's coming?"

V. No. The Scale Crisis: AI's compute demand is doubling every 3.4 months, a rate that centralized clouds can't sustain. The Access Crisis: Closed, permissioned systems controlled by a few corporations hinder open innovation. The Trust Crisis: Opaque, "black-box" AIs make transparency and accountability impossible. The Control Crisis: Concentrating AI power in a few hands leads to censorship, bias, and manipulation. The Cost Crisis: The immense cost of training and running AI models creates barriers for all but a select few.

VI. DeAI is not just crypto's "next big thing," but an ultimate purpose. The biggest idea that I'm now grappling with, thanks to @MTorygreen, is a complete reframing of crypto's destiny. I used to see Bitcoin and DeFi as the main things, but they were just the "proof of concept."

VII. The real lightbulb moment is realizing that crypto's core principles: decentralization, mathematical trust, permissionless access are the perfect and precise solution to AI's five crises.

VIII. I can't stop thinking about: "DeAI isn't just crypto's next killer thing. It's the reason crypto must exist."
