Six months ago everyone was joking about CMOs getting $300k salaries plus tokens. Several folks I know have gotten offers of $400k base pay + huge token allocations. Profiles: all marketing leaders, experience with token launches, big brand names on CV.

@maximus_void I think it's two different sides of the spectrum, as per the below diagram. Memecoin CMO is 24/7 working round the clock on growth. Infra/techy CMO is trying to turn autism fueled whitepapers into product. Both are hard.
