𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 "𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲" @SpaceandTimeDB began in Los Angeles, 2021. From day 1, @holiday_nate was on board with frontier research at the edge of GPU-accelerated cryptography. Years of R&D. We were going to build the first sub-second zero knowledge prover, and focus on large datasets. Developing a trustless SQL database. Embarassingly nerdy. 🤓 @theZKjay led the scientific charge, and spent ~3.5 years with a trial & error dev lab of novel circuit designers and CUDA lords. They toiled with @nvidia GPUs until the performance was undeniable. We are forever in Jay and his team's debt. What eventually emerged was a 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲-optimized, 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲-benchmarked ZK prover for SQL. Nate, in the meantime during that ~3.5 years of difficult research, built a team of gigabrains @MakeInfiniteCo and sorted out like 100TB of indexed chain data; all within @Azure thanks to help from our friends at MSFT.
