Following reports yesterday that the White House has “caught be surprise” and angered by last week’s strikes against Syria by the Israel Air Force, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has confirmed that President Trump was “caught off guard” by the Israeli bombings in Syria as well as the shelling last week of a church in Gaza, with him speaking to Netanyahu in both cases and asking him “to rectify things”. Leavitt further added that President Trump maintains a “good working relationship” with Israeli Prime Minster Netanyahu.
