Good news: ZKsync will be faster than Monad! In the next protocol upgrade (v29), our blocktimes will be 0.2 seconds!

what you're viewing here is the unprecedented power of monad: - 0.5 second blocktimes - consumer grade globally distributed validator set that scales to 1,000s this has never been possible before on the EVM, which is home to 80% of all devs in crypto. this is WHY monad exists.
For the record, Arbitrum blocktimes have been 0.25 seconds for a long time, so the claim "this has never been possible before on the EVM" is definitely a lie.
Tragically, alt-L1s will always be slower than L2s. Let me know if anyone wants to become a ZKsync chain. Airbender is quite fast 😁
@thecryptoBike That's what the "three-ways" are for 😏

A comprehensive report on @zksync's recent institutional progress from @Delphi_Digital covering: ▪ Prividium ▪ Institutional design space ▪ Three-way proving ▪ @solx_compiler ▪ Full EVM equivalence ▪ Airbender ▪ ZKnomics And more!
@jonastheis_ @jonastheis_ current estimate is that leader rotation will slow down our blocks by ~2x. It's being worked on this quarter so I should know more concrete numbers in another month or two 👍
