As a teaser to our full restructuring strategy for Arbius, it’s time to reveal what we’ve been building. We've quietly laid the groundwork and formed partnerships to merge DeSci and DeAI into the first large-scale scientific use case for permissionless, incentivized, verifiable computing. It starts with @MolecuLayer 👇🧵
With MolecuLayer, researchers will be able to run heavy biomolecular computations, like protein folding and ligand docking without setting up their own hardware or relying on centralized servers like ESMAtlas or AlphaFold. All powered by Arbius.
MolecuLayer runs protein folding tasks on Arbius' decentralized inference network. Results are stored on IPFS for verifiability and permanence.
The first model deployed is Meta AI’s ESMFold v1, live on Arbius testnet and currently being validated before moving to mainnet.
Solvers who submit valid outputs earn $AIUS and $MYLR. $MYLR stakers may also passively earn $AIUS emissions, aligning compute incentives with research participation.
To deepen alignment, 5% of $MYLR supply is allocated to veAIUS voters who direct emissions toward MolecuLayer models.
What’s next? AlphaFold 2/3, ligand docking, peptide modeling expanding what’s possible in decentralized life sciences.
There will be a slew of communications regarding how the ecosystem will evolve to better align incentives for holders. One of these changes is the introduction of model and agent tokens. We will share more information later! Stay tuned 🔔
