One of the top propagandists for the Islamic Republic is upset that the Syrian government is referring to the State of Israel as the State of Israel. Whether people like it or not, Israel is recognized as a state. Also, while the new Syrian government has been referring to Israel as a “state” for the most part, the other day in taped remarks, President Ahmed al‑Sharaa, who has referred to Israel as a state in recent months, used “Israeli entity” in his remarks.
