not very well said but there's a certain "it" factor for leaders and people that just make you believe what they say. and i think it starts with they themselves embody and believe what they say without inconsistency (they look the part, they practice the part, they live the part) you believe whole-heartedly what you say -> you embody it -> others resonate and also believe in it -> groups resonate and believe in it think it's just easier to smell a mercenary doing things only for money these days
