Syria’s Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Hind Kabawat, who is accompanying a large aid convoy with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), spoke to reporters earlier in Suwayda, as Hikmat al-Hijri and the Suwayda Military Council (SMC) continue to prevent humanitarian aid convoys from entering the city in Southern Syria. “Just a very clear message, the people of Suwayda are our people, they are our children, they are our families, and we are not very happy that we are standing here and cannot enter,” said Minister Kabawat.
