You know why bears are so angry right? They've mid-curved this entire bull market for nearly 3 years. They've done macro deep-dives into the most niche of niche datapoints and even learned about global monetary plumbing and eurodollar futures. Only for you to outperform them. It's actually hilarious. They've done everything they can to discredit this bull market. Week after week, month after month, quarter after quarter, they highlight something new that will derail this market and the economy... only for nothing to happen and for asset prices to keep grinding higher. They've shorted the market. They've been in money market funds. They told you deflation was coming, then hyper-inflation, then deflation again. They talked about the debt spiral. They talked about cracks in the labor market. They told us that we were entering the sweet spot for a recession. They told us about the inverted yield curve. They told us that student loan repayments would crash the economy. They cried about commercial real estate. They cried about auto loans. They tried to tell us that the ETFs wouldn't unlock demand. They used their big brains to discredit the market, and their big brains failed them while you just consistently outperformed them. Their ego can't take it because it requires them to admit that they've lost and that their precious intelligence failed them. To avoid this reality, they operate with extreme cognitive dissonance. They lash out. They scream and cry even louder. They proclaim that the market is a bubble. They attribute our success to dumb luck. And they continue to underperform. It becomes a recursive cycle of doom & pessimism. Even when asset prices fall, like in March & April, they claim that more pain is coming around the corner. I've never once heard a Doomer say "U.S. equities are cheap now". When stocks rise, they say it's unjustified. When stocks fall, they say it's justified & will get worse. They do the same with Bitcoin. So, as these "investors" inevitably get louder and louder, it's our job to completely ignore them or use them as contra indicators and fade them. To give yourself the best chance at success as an investor, you must avoid their pessimistic mentality. I'm speaking from experience here, as a former Doomer. Good luck.
