Society still clings to outdated views that men’s sports are more exciting, aggressive, or entertaining. That’s not fact, it’s bias. It’s reinforced every time people dismiss the WNBA without watching a game.
This isn’t even trolling.
I’m a basketball fan. I have my issues with the NBA and college, but I still watch. I tried to watch the WNBA after Clark joined the league and it was unwatchable.
The officiating, the turnovers, the lack of movement, the bad passes etc.
It’s like watching a middle school game. Has nothing to do with gender, it’s just a bad product.
They should be counting their lucky stars that Clark is bringing in such an audience, but it won’t matter long run if they don’t put a better product out there.
