We're finally seeing a good $ETH pump, and I'm hitting a 2x since my last buy. 🫡 Feels like we might be getting the classic $BTC pump, then large caps, then alt season? Market Updates & Alpha ↓ + Alts that are still in accumulation 🧵 -------------------- Honestly I wasn't sure we'd have the classic rotation this late in the cycle. $BTC -> Large Caps -> Small Caps But it seems like we already got the $BTC pump, now the large caps, then hopefully the Alt Season will follow. $BTC has shown so much strength, with its dominance that didn't seem to slow down. Since the start of the year, $BTC has outperformed nearly all top 20 tokens, except for $HYPE. Now, BTC dominance is finally starting to drop. But we still need to go lower to get a proper Alt Season. Last time we broke the dominance trend, end of 2024, we got a pretty good Alt Season. The Alt Season Index is heading back into the Alt Season zone, and $ETH is reclaiming its rightful price above $3500. And as you’ve read here many times, people are expecting $ETH to lead the Alt Season, with profits trickling down into smaller caps after. -------------------- But you have to keep in mind we're also in a "take profit" zone. People usually are cautious in the beginning of a bull run, and get greedy toward the end. You should be doing the opposite, risk on at first, and reducing risk by taking profits on the way up. Do I think we're going higher? Yes, I think the top is not there yet. I'm still cautious here, but we might be entering a real phase of euphoria. ✦ Why is that? • We just hit an ATH with the total Crypto Market Cap reaching $4T. Money attracts money, sentiment is good. • $ETH above $3500, while many swore we'd never see $ETH even above $2000. $ETH pumping is something many weren't expecting, and among the things that can launch an Alt Season. • $BTC seems to be ranging between $117k to $121k. Which is a good thing for an Alt Season, but doesn't mean we can't breakout and push for another ATH later. Both scenario would result in some kind of euphoria. • An OG $BTC Wallet that's been dormant for years just awoke. With around $9.4B worth of $BTC to sell. Selling has started already, yet $BTC PA remains good, and no FUD has been spread around that. That's what happens in a euphoric market. • Trump is going to open the $9 trillion US retirement market (401k plans) to crypto investments, which obviously is a good long-term catalyst for inflows in $BTC. • Assets typically loved by the mainstream, like $XRP or $DOGE, are seeing huge pumps, which can definitely attract interest and give a signal of "Crypto is back". • An upcoming $SOL ETF is also another good catalyst. • Global Liquidity is rising, as well as crypto adoption. That's just a few reasons why the Market might turn even more euphoric. We could be hitting a small top of euphoria right now after a +120% on $ETH in just 3 months, yet we'll definitely see more euphoria for 2025. -------------------- So if we actually get a rotation into small caps, and a proper alt season, what hasn't pumped yet? AI. Honestly we've seen decent pumps for AI tokens, but nothing like we used to have back in late 2024. ✦ Why could it be among the biggest pumps of 2025? First of all, cause it's AI, it's everywhere now. Secondly, fundamentals are getting way better, and Crypto x AI is actually seeing use cases. Third, NVIDIA is still the largest company by Mcap, with a recent ATH. The latest quarterly earnings were very good, the next ones are end of August. It's bullish for AI in general. AI as a whole is just on an uptrend. -------------------- ✦ So which AI tokens am I bullish on in Crypto? That's almost the easiest part, as betting on AI as a whole is already a strong thesis. So we have some big caps I'm bullish on, if I should go with just one AI large cap, that'd be $TAO. I'd also consider #VIRTUAL for the AI Agent part of the narrative, but the PA hasn't been so good lately so i'd wait for signs of a reversal. And we have some small caps, that are the ones I'm the most interested in. $XMW $SERV $AVM $EMP $CODEC That's my picks. And most of them are in crazy good accumulation zones.
