Went to Detroit on a work trip two years ago and felt so unsafe traveling alone that when I went this week for @reindsummit I did a day trip versus sleeping at a hotel. Cannot believe how much safer the city felt this week. Complete turnaround. Not only that, the Reindustrialize Summit exceeded expectations. Every panel was exceptional. All walks of life showed up to share their efforts towards making the US a leader on several fronts (energy, defense, all types of industrial manufacturing). Had no idea what to expect heading into it. Planning events let alone a 1,500+ person Summit in less than two years is insane. Huge thank you to @austinbishop @aphysicist and others for making this happen. Hope I'm invited back!
