The thing is, if you really want to make it in this space everyone around you will think there’s something wrong with you. To truly be the 0.001%, life outside of the trenches is almost non existent. No girls, no hobbies, no social outings, no netflix or anything which takes you away from the grind. It’s a type of mindset which is extremely unrelatable to even the likes of professional athletes because there’s no reason you can’t be online 24/7. We’re stuck in our own paradox of freedom. Everyone wants the magic ability to click buttons for money, until it’s time to say no to 95% of enjoyments. Friends and family will constantly throw hints suggesting you have a form of mental illness and will never truly see the vision. Jealously rises when bits of success creep through, if you watch people closely enough, they always reveal their true intentions, even if they didn’t mean to. The smallest hints will give them away, usually from spontaneous emotional reactions in the moment where you only need to hear a few words slip, most of the time that’s all it takes. As you become more successful, learn to stay quiet. There’s no need to mention your progress, as great as it would be to share with everyone and enjoy the fruits of your labour, it’ll only attract greed from others. Most fail this as they make being the “crypto guy” or “investor” their whole persona. Even if you’re online 16 hours a day, you still need to have interests and ambitions outside of this industry. Friends should want to hang out with you for the quality of your presence and mood difference you make while being there, not how many numbers you’ve made on a screen. Living a private, secluded life with a small circle of quality individuals is the greatest life hack for peace of mind. If your presence doesn’t make people feel something without talking about money, you’ve already lost.
