Staking is the only instrument that we have to actually align unit economics. Each time a transaction comes, your protocol does well. You stake your token, deliver value, get rewarded if you do well. Without this alignment, the current rollup model will scale without creating proportional value for their stakeholders. The economic bond breaks, and they migrate to better alternatives. We'll be fixing that.
