Cloudflare experiment around "pay per crawl" will be interesting to follow. The flippening of the ad model to now giving the website owner the "authorize" a bot crawl their site for free, fee, or block will be an important shift in how web traffic flows.

I've said this before, but authorization + settlement = transaction. Cloudflare's new authorization model for bots can become the root of new transaction type with agents. The settlement could still be card rails, stablecoins/blockchains, or other settlement means. Cloudflare could end up a dark horse player in the payments game.
