Dear yappers, We’re aware that the presale on @gu_trade encountered significant frontend disruptions due to a high-volume DDoS attack. While we anticipated heavy demand and feasible attacks, the actual load exceeded expectations, resulting in over 60M frontend requests and 89K failed transactions on the public sale contract (which luckily worked as intended). Additionally, we recognize that the public portion of the sale was botted. Approximately 200k USD were allocated to whitelist participants, and despite the technical issues, over 170k were successfully secured by legitimate yappers. In light of this, we want to reassure the community on 2 key fronts: 1/ All presale funds and the entire YAPYO token supply are fully secured. Bots hold 0% percent of the supply. 2/ We are actively working to make top leaderboard yappers whole, specifically to those who were unable to participate due to technical challenges. Details for these 90 yappers will be communicated before the claiming period starts. We appreciate your patience and support as we ensure fairness and transparency for everyone involved. Lastly, despite the bitter taste of the technical difficulties, we think this is an amazing opportunity to do things differently. Arbitrum will win.
