1️⃣ My Dad by Anthony Browne. One of my daughter’s favorites when she was 3. A child sees her dad as a superhero — strong, funny, and full of love. Anthony Browne is a Kate Greenaway Medal winner. Perfect for younger kids.

2️⃣ Owl Moon by Jane Yolen. For slightly older kids (5–7). A quiet, tender story about a child and father walking into the woods at night, looking for owls. The text is simple, the feeling is deep. A classic.
