Introducing Explain ETH, a series of interactive essays to show the basics of blockchain Everyone wants mass adoption. Maybe the tech has caught up. But the learning resources definitely haven't. I want to change that.
This is an opinionated take on basic concepts in Ethereum. It's designed for less technical readers. We start by explaining ETH in terms of a money network. You get a simulated wallet and build intuition for confirmations, transactions, and transfers.
Then, we explain the basics of smart contracts through transfers and splits. We walk you through some pseudocode, and this motivates the design space for other types of apps.
Lastly, we explain tokens through stablecoins and start opening up the ideas for moving beyond just simple payments.
