The most interesting thing in crypto right now is happening in TradFi. @rleshner launched a takeover attempt of Nasdaq listed 'LQR House Inc' $YHC alleging fraud and mismanagement. With a market cap under $10mm the stock price popped this week on the news and rumors of fixing things up into a crypto treasury company. Current management is fighting back against Leshner's "governance attack" by issuing new shares to prevent him from forcing a leadership change. Meanwhile CT is fighting back against the countermeasures to support the takeover, with accounts like @0xjaypeg highlighting the battle and @0xMakesy even slashing the reputation of YHC's current management on @ethos_network (very cool). The convergence of crypto, TradFi, onchain, and offchain governance is wild to watch. And with a sub-10mm market cap, a front row seat doesn't break the bank either. Not a recommendation to invest.
