Then, there's more: Introducing: Heft Releases This website is also our vehicle for releasing new digital art series as Heft Releases – with minting and purchases powered by Verse, and embedded in our site (more on this below). Every week that there’s not a gallery show opening, we will open the sale of a new series from one artist on Wednesday at Noon EST! These series allow us to focus on a different exceptional artist each week, and gives collectors great works to acquire from artists we’ve been partnering with... all as digital-first artwork, often at accessible prices. Many of these works will also have an optional physical offering that can be collected before the release, or as a followup at additional cost. As a bold evolution of the @verse_works platform and our long-standing partnership with them, this marks the first white-labeled integration of their display and sales mechanics by another gallery / website! The Verse technology and user experience for minting digital art has become the best in the business, and this partnership allows us to leverage their suite of mechanics and benefits, so that we can focus our efforts on working with artists to bring you exciting new works. This means that our Heft Releases will be able to use all the great functionality that Verse has to offer: fixed price sales and a variety of auction mechanics, allowlist access, artist ownership of minting contracts, artist- and collector-curated projects, live-code generated projects, payments with credit card or a variety of crypto currencies, low/no minting fees, and more. This approach also helps us easily onboard new collectors with simple email login and credit card payments. And for those already using Verse, your existing account will work the same on our site, just log in again using your email address or wallet, and you’re good to go! A long time in the making, this launch is the start of another big, long-term initiative for Heft. It’s not a platform or a store, not a marketplace or a static gallery site. This is the start of an expanding hub for all our curatorial efforts and collaborations with incredible artists – including the catalog of more than 50 extensive projects/shows that we’ve presented in partnership with artists over the past 3+ years of bringing substantive new art to the space.
