Turk's Tips for @fantasy_top_: place bids and list your cards.
Even if you think bids or listings may not hit, it's always still worth it to bid / list just in case. Here's an example from yesterday:
I've slowly been building an epic Orangie and saw one listed for .28ish on the market. I decided to put in a bid and it hit!
On the flip side, I saw epic Beanies were being bought in the .25 range. I listed and sure enough it sold.
Now I get an epic Orangie instead of a Beanie (upgrade imo) and get to pocket .05 eth for more cards.

Fav part of New @fantasy_top_ F2P app it shows Core's Value of the cards you earned. Which is huge because it shows new players how much they could potentially earn if they were to play on Core.
Since day one I have always said how refreshing it is that the Core Team is always looking for new/fun ways to onboard new players among a magnitude of other updates/features.

Just finished my FIRST @fantasy_top_ tournament.
If you’re:
🔹 Completely new
🔹 Don’t know where to start
🔹 Have no idea what Fantasy is
I’ve simplified everything from the lens of a newb: 👇
Star and Scores
Every card comes with both a star and a score. Stars add limitation to which cards you can field in every tournament while score determines your final ranking.
Stars fluctuates depending on the heroes performance. Typically high performing cards that drop to 1-star due to inactivity becomes a good pick.
For e.g. Wazz was an insane 1-star play (716) in the previous tournament. Another notable one include 1-star Psycho (445). 1-star DB also has alot of potential.
The opposite is said to be true. E.g. Jack went up from 7 to 8-star and I think he’d be the top performing card in a few weeks.
Note that different rarity have different score multipliers. Common (1x), rare (1.5x), epic (2x) and legendary (2.5x).
Predicting the potential score of various cards can give you an edge. Based on the winning score of the various leagues, here’s the average score/star you should aim for to win the tournament:
Elite: No Cap - 259.84 (assuming you play all 8-stars)
Gold: 25 Stars - 243.28
Silver: 23 Stars - 206.82
Bronze: 18 Stars - 181.05
Reverse: 18 Stars - 0 (aim for as low as you can)
-----------------
Strategy
This is the ultimate factor in determining whether your deck has a good winning chance. There are stars limitation for bronze, silver and gold league. So you can’t just play every good hero. You need to have a mix of good ones and not so good ones with hidden potential.
Focus on drafting cards with a mix of consistent performing score/star cards, with high risk ones that are lower in stars but have shown potential of scoring higher.
The best advice? Stay active on X and study various KOLs that have potential to go viral based on trends.
-----------------
Luck
Just like every game, luck is still a crucial factor. For e.g. everyone was expecting DB to tweet but he didn’t. KNV was too busy touching grass too. So we try again if luck is not on our side.
-----------------
Risk-Taking
It’s often better to go for the win if you can afford it because the rewards at the top is so much better than ones at the middle or the bottom.
To illustrate this better, you could be rank top 200 for 5 tournaments but the rewards still won’t be as good as just ONE top 3 finish?
So picking a risky draft that could win with a twist of fate is usually the better call. That’s why everyone loves DB because when he tweets, his score flies making him insanely valuable as a 1-star.
-----------------
Trading
Scoop cards with potential not for the next tournament but for subsequent ones too. Keep some cards in your inventory till they’re ready.
Even if heroes performed poorly this round, they might still be useful the next. Remember as their stars go down, their score/star may go up in the next tournament as long as they remain active.
The change in stars between tournaments is what makes most cards still relevant cause even if for e.g. they’re not a good 8-star play, inactivity for 1 tournament may result in a drop to 1-star, making them an attractive pick-up, just like Wazz.
-----------------
Activity
Study marketplace activity for alpha. Sometimes certain cards are being picked up for their potential. Study what cards top players like @OttoSuwenNFT are picking up. But don’t fall for times when players are sweeping cards to be burnt.
-----------------
Rewards
FAN points are guaranteed regardless of your rank. The higher you rank, the more points you get. If you put in effort to build a decent deck, you should at least rank high enough to receive some fragments. You might even be eligible for some ETH rewards.
-----------------
Fragments
Fragments are used to open packs. You can also use fragments to spin the lucky wheel and try your luck at a Lavendar pack (worth 50x more than the cost of one spin)
-----------------
P2W?
I would say yes for mostly Gold and especially Elite leagues. But for Silver and Bronze? Less paying, more strategizing. Competition is tougher, but makes it more thrilling!
-----------------
Budget
If you’re just here for the culture and to have fun, I’d always suggest building a cheap bronze deck to get started first.
A budget deck shouldn’t cost more than 0.1 ETH and should still earn you some FAN points and fragments for competing.
But if you’re here to win, building a flexible and decent deck for bronze may cost 0.3-0.4 ETH. For Silver, you might need more, perhaps around 1.2-1.5 ETH.
Having some excess ETH should give you some flexibility between tournaments.

Community
The Fantasy community is the BEST community out there.
@fantardio shares tools.
@Khallid4397 shares weekly draft picks and runs a deck building series on youtube with @CarpenterOfWeb3
@Naya6039 is another expert I've been seeking advice from in the DMs.
@dankerwim provides entertaining updates on what heroes and players are doing daily.
@DegenApe99 shares his wins often (you can copy his strat if you have capital).
And there’s such a long list of helpful players and heroes who are willing to share and guide you if you’d take that step forward and give Fantasy a try.
-----------------
TL;DR
Don’t wait to dive into Fantasy! Give it a try, start slow and small, understand trends, make friends, and stay for the culture.
Winning is cool, but vibes is cooler.

I want to research and find some good 1 star cards, to see some under radar and affordable options 🧠
Lets dive in:
@tier10k (0.04 eth) - capable of 900+ score
Obvious leader of 1 stars, a bit risky because he hasn't tweeted for 16 days, but it is still well worth it.
@vers_laLune (0.0045 eth) - capable of 600+ score
Not really consistent, but he is able to hit bangers, and he proved it in a past. Good affordable card that can surprise.
@intuitio_ (0.004 eth) - capable of 550+ score
Posting not too frequent, but when he does he ends up on around 500 score. Very solid pick considering his price.
@functi0nZer0 (0.007 eth) - capable of 700+ score
He took the break for now, but can come back anytime soon, being a really solid and affordable pick.
@0xMakesy (0.0147 eth) - capable of 550+ score
This is a must-have 1 star, obvious and strong pick, he is going to post and score well.
