I write mostly about Bitcoin and energy
Bitcoin set to benefit 6.5M+ refugees by 2035.
The humanitarian benefits of bitcoin are real, growing, and helping some of the most vulnerable people in the world
Beautiful research from @dari_org

Love this
Using Bitcoin bonds to fund ecological restoration.
This has the potential to scale, reversing the significant ecological damage done by the consumption-driven fiat economy

We’re not waiting around, we’re building a new standard.
By the end of 2025, The Bitcoin Stewardship Initiative will launch 4 pilot projects in Tennessee, Colorado, California, and Panama, real-world proof that Bitcoin can fund ecological restoration.
In 2026, we’ll issue the world’s first Bitcoin-Backed Green Bond (BBGB), turning digital scarcity into ecological abundance.
This isn’t theory. It’s proof of restoration. 🌱₿🌍
Thank you, Satoshi, for better capital.

I don't talk about this much, but behind the scenes I've been coaching a few people on getting their bitcoin projects up and running.
Today, I wanted to share a principle that one of them recently found helped him commit fully to his particular bitcoin project.
Over the years, I've found that most people make small but critical mistakes, which stop them from following their calling
It's not that they don't feel a silent whisper beckoning them towards their calling. It's that after hearing they rationale and say "Yes but ... someone else is better suited to the task. I don't have the skills to carry that off"
You have misinterpreted the data
The fact that you don't have the skills is not the evidence that you are not fit to undertake this calling.
It's evidence that you are the right person.
Why?
Because if you already had all the skills and experience to do this, what would be the point? It would not have grown you meaningfully.
You made the mistake about thinking your calling is about doing something for the world.
Something more important is at play:
Your chance to deepen your knowledge, and awareness, and this assignment is the most efficient and effective way that you can do this. By doing this of course you'll also be more useful to the world!
Skills can be learnt
Experience is just ignorance waiting to ripen through application in the right direction
But passion and purpose cannot be faked. The fact you have these wealths in abundance is all the wealth you need for your calling, your quest, to be successful. All the other gifts will be given.
It takes some knowledge, and self-awareness and humility, to even see that there is a gap between the skills you need and the set you currently have. A truly incompetent person will not even notice the gap.
So interpret the right way. Find the guide, then build the right team.
You are not being asked to be careless
Yet nor are you being asked to be fearful
Your assignment is to find the middle path where your fear softens to care. Be careful yes, but not at the cost of also being purposeful, joyful and confidence-full.
You were given this quest for a reason. If you cannot see the path ahead - good. If you feel fear - good. If you don't have the skills - good.
These are the signs that you are the right person to carry out this proof of work.

A tale of 2 countries:
In 2018, Bulgaria sold 213,500 BTC for "state expenditures", including buying a squadron of military planes
The bitcoin sold is now worth 79% of Bulgaria's public debt. They could have been almost debt free
But they chose increasing debt burdens in return for depreciating relics of the industrial military complex
Meanwhile Bhutan around the same time started mining Bitcoin. It's now worth 50% of their GDP and they just put up salaries of govt workers by 50-65%.
Be like Bhutan, not Bulgaria
