The new product called White-labeled Stablecoins by @withAUSD sounds super interesting. With this platform, anyone can issue a stablecoin right out of the box from day one, and Agora offers features like: ▪️Custody ▪️Asset management ▪️Onchain liquidity ▪️Dashboard ▪️Compliance ▪️Local FX and off-ramp ▪️and more For companies that don’t have the right license yet or don’t have the resources to build the whole issuance pipeline, this service could make launching a stablecoin way easier. What I’m curious about is how this compares to what @Paxos does with issuing PYUSD or USDG. Wdyk anons?

A few years ago being an Ethereum L2 kind of came with this strong ETH-aligned vibe like users were expected to be all-in on Ethereum ideals too. But these days, with projects like Abstract, it doesn’t really feel that way anymore. Just being an ETH L2 doesn’t automatically give off that old-school image.

The best way to build an L2 is to lean into the L1's offerings (security, censorship resistance, proofs, data avail...) more, and reduce your logic to just being a sequencer and a prover (if based, just a prover) over the core execution. This is the combination of trust minimization and efficiency that the 2010s enterprise blockchain crew wanted, but was never able to achieve. Now, with Ethereum L2s, you can achieve it. And we've already seen successful examples of the L1's features protecting users' rights if something on the L2 goes wrong.
