I think pump is defs bad, but I will fight for its right to fair access to ethereum blob space like everyone else

It shouldn't matter if it is good or bad (it's bad) because the whole point of blockchains is permissionless and credible neutrality.
Chain leaders should not lead cattle to their slaughter but they also shouldn't moralize too much about it. I know I have railed against pump bc of the predatory nature of it, but I'm not an ecosystem growth lead or anything of the sort.
TLDR: be neutral as a rule of thumb and promote the things that you think are good.

looking back, all this “alignment” discussion really had it backwards
dapps & l2s shouldn’t have to pledge allegiance to ethereum, they should choose us because we have the best product and if they’re that impressed they’re welcome to shill it

Has Polymarket ever done anything to show that they're ethereum-aligned?
Feels like they would launch their own alt-L1 if it meant more $$$
It's one reason I prefer using @Truemarketsorg and @trylimitless
