Digital Art today is like Bitcoin in 2016. The community is strong, passionate and with a strong vision for the future, but it's also small. If you're a moderate to serious collector you basically know 95% of the participants in the space. This will not last for long. We are just entering a new phase of adoption for Digital Art/NFTs, where thousands of new participants will be joining the space scrambling to buy historically relevant works. "The Doomed" is one of XCOPY's most iconic editions on KnownOrigin, but this piece is unique, a 1/1 (Mono) created in 2019 on SuperRare. Between August 2010 and June 2022, XCOPY posted 1,167 GIFs to Tumblr (which uses the WebP format). The “Doomed” motif first emerges in January 2013. By XCOPY’s later standards, this early version is relatively simple in its construction.
