it's pretty easy to make the case that American growth is constrained by supply (housing, energy, materials) while Chinese growth is constrained by demand (housing glut, infinite concrete), both foreseeable consequences of short sighted policies this is also likely the reason that trade has been incredibly profitable while also exacerbating the underlying issues in both economies
