Exactly right @KnownHeretic. This is coercive control masquerading as empathy. I also wonder what @benryanwriter would say if Tim McBride decides he also now identifies as a Black woman, puts on an afro wig and slaps on some dark foundation. Would Mr Ryan expect us to go along with the lie that Tim has also changed race as well as sex? Would we be blocked for pointing out that he is indeed still white? Which lies are acceptable and which are beyond the pale? Benjamin Ryan, Tim McBride and @mattyglesias are nothing more than a trio of out of touch, bullying men who have no idea that they are out of touch, bullying men.
