@hmalviya9 and I planned 3 art workshops and we’ve just finished the first one. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to hit me this hard. It turned out to be one of the most emotional and unforgettable experiences of my life. Before I get into what happened during the workshop, I just want to take a moment to talk about @hmalviya9. He’s not just “helping” a school ~ He’s adopted one. He shows up every day, for every kid, with full heart and intention. No cameras. No spotlight. Just pure work. Most of the kids in that school come from extremely tough backgrounds. Some have no parents. Others live with families who barely make ends meet and even that money often goes into alcohol. In an environment like that, education is a luxury not because the kids don’t want to learn, but because they’ve never had a real chance to see what learning can do. And that’s where @hmalviya9 vision shines. He’s not just teaching them how to read and write. He’s giving them something bigger a chance to grow through expression. Art. Acting. Yoga. Meditation. Things that help these kids feel seen, heard and hopeful. Coming to the workshop... We spent 10 days with the kids. And every single day was full of laughter, learning, play and connection. The kids are incredibly talented. We danced. We painted. We explored storytelling and acting. And slowly, we watched something amazing happen they started to open up. We could literally see their confidence grow. Their smiles got bigger. Their eyes got brighter. But then came the hardest part… saying goodbye. Some kids were crying. A few of them ran behind our vehicle shouting: > “Bhaiya, please don’t go!” That moment shattered something inside me. Even now, just writing this gives me goosebumps. This was just the beginning. One workshop down. Two more to go. And now, we’re even more committed to showing up, again and again.
