While $BTC notched fresh record highs earlier this week, altcoins have been driving returns in crypto markets. $BTC is up over 11% since the end of June, while our broad-based indices have both outperformed. The KT5 and the KT10 are up 23% and 24%, respectively.

The outperformance relative to $BTC highlights the strength of altcoins at present. $BTC has largely dominated the recent market highs, but assets like $ETH and $XRP are massively outperforming the original cryptocurrency at present.
