Ok so @LinguardLabs just released its trailer. We have a project here bridging the gap between TradFi & DeFi, especially in B2B Payments. Which is a real-world use case for crypto! This is a very new project but from what I heard it could be something. Here is my take ↓ 🧵 ------------- Basically Linguard Labs is building a regulation-first blockchain infrastructure for global B2B payments. With AI-driven compliance, and especially real-world payment rails, which is very important. → It embeds Blockchain into Traditional Finance. But the best part is, that's all without needing users to even know it’s blockchain. Blockchain is invisible for users, but highly useful. Global B2B payments are a $150T+ market. But also a market that is slow, fragmented, expensive, and trapped in legacy rails. Enterprises, banks, and governments are all looking for: • Real-time settlement • Cross-border fluidity • End-to-end compliance But most blockchain infra is too public, too rigid, or too crypto-native. Which of course doesn't work for most TradFi. That's why Linguard is needed. Blockchain & Crypto adoption, from real money, for real-world use. The biggest crypto adoption curve might come not from retail wallets, but from invisible infra that powers finance 2.0. At least that's how I see it. It could be a way for mass adoption. ------------- One thing that piqued my curiosity and made me interested is the team & advisors. • CEO, Drew Weinstein: 20-year Fintech leader (Apple Pay IP, Visa, McKinsey, Convera) • CTO, John Davies: Blockchain technologist with extensive experience in DLT • ⁠Carlos Hernandez: former EVP of Corporate Investment Bank, JPM Chase (exec sponsor of Onyx blockchain & JPM coin) • John Partridge: former President and COO of Visa Inc (payments industry legend, scaled VisaNetto $10T/year) They're all very big in TradFi, having them work on a crypto project is huge. So it could be something for sure, yet it's still very new. I'm waiting to see some docs or a whitepaper!
