Things I'm interested in today: (07.16.2025) - Crypto week. Specifically passage of the GENIUS Act. It's a good bill (imo). It gives some real structure for stablecoin issuance. It explicitly prohibits development of a CBDC. It needs to pass. Let's get it done. - DeFi. There's a lot of free money hanging around if you're willing to put in some time to optimize. I'm currently getting 18% APY on my BTC through the tBTC incentivized pool on Hydration. There were some rumors about a similar hydrated pool for SOL...if that happens, I'm bridging 90% of my liquid SOL to Polkadot. Alongside DOT farms, there's a lot of interesting DeFi being built on HL. I've got funds in Liminal and Project X (and need to spend time working out a strategy for Felix and a couple others). Probably also need to check out the Blackhole DEX that went live on Avalanche yesterday. - Yeet. I saw a click from Mando yesterday I think that they've given their team a hard deadline for the sportsbook going live as the start of the NFL season. I had so much fun playing live sports on IKB during Blast season, so getting to farm the Yeet airdrop while playing DFS (or other sports parlays) would be awesome. - Capital formation spots. We've seen a lot of new capital formation success over the last couple weeks. Extremely successful ICOs, ICM on Solana via Believe (still not sold on this), and a new capital formation product coming from the big K soon (based on teasers in the discord).
