This is a no bullshit but great take. I do think settling on BTC is a plus but shouldn't come at the cost of scaling the appchain vision. That's been my consistent take for the last 3+ years. There is simply no better stack our there including any wizardry on general purpose L1s.

Humble @Starknet critic Starknet is not a leveraged bet on BTC - please stop saying this. It’s misleading at best (and only maybe changes if OP_CAT happens - which it won’t). Every chain has centralized BTC wrappers. There's 0 differentiation here for Starknet. Smart people see through this BS, and newcomers don’t care about this narrative. It serves no real purpose. IMO, Starknet’s strongest narrative is app chains: - Ultra-scalable, high-performance tech stack - Native privacy and account abstraction - Flexible settlement across chains There’s simply no second-best when it comes to L2 tech stacks. The real bottleneck is ecosystem and adoption. In a hyper competitive environment, building out an ecosystem for general-purpose L2 is a long, painful marathon So why not focus on onboarding top-tier teams to build app chains on Starknet - teams that can fully control and customize their chains? (not sure how app chains are monetized though) There’s already one great success story: @tradeparadex. It should be celebrated and amplified. My hope is that the next time a company like Robinhood decides to go onchain, they consider stark stack. Cause it's worth considering.
