3/ But SDNY has a new, nonsensical theory: if code can be used by a third party to "cause" a transfer, you're a money transmitter. By that logic we could indict Ford for a getaway car or Apple for every illicit iPhone text.

4/ The result? Developers who followed every government guideline now face indictment. Innovators are already packing their bags for friendlier jurisdictions. The US can't lead in crypto or AI if it treats devs like fugitives.
