.@SecScottBessent launches ad hominem attacks on @The_Budget_Lab analysis noting some staff and board members served in the Biden Administration. I am on the board, didn’t serve with Biden and was plenty critical of Biden's stimulus and inflation. (Greg Mankiw former Bush CEA chair is also on the board.)  I trust @The_Budget_Lab analysis over @realDonaldTrump's economic team analysis every day of the week and so would the rest of the economics profession. I would be happy to debate @SecScottBessent any place, any time -- even @FoxNews -- on any points of economic analysis, the merits of OBBB or the tariff war.
