I was one of the only people talking about this, was a core pillar of my thesis and rabid bullishness. This is an absolute gamechanger that shifts the nature of BTC (and a few others) from being intensely volatile cyclical assets into having a more equity-like up only grind.
This change in character significantly broadens the pool of potential buyers for these assets. Many will now want to front run these retirement flows. It's a massive catalyst.

This is a huge deal, Dept of Labor is rescinding 2022 guidance that strongly discouraged retirement plans from offering crypto. Retirement flows are the most passive, recurring, set-it-and-forget-it out there. This will take time to play out but it will become a huge tailwind.

Mark is saying Trump will almost definitely fire Powell. He was the first to break the news Biden was stepping down from the race, and has had other good scoops, so he is a credible source.
I still have trouble believing it because of the limits of Trump's legal authority, but possible he will make an attempt. It would come with ramifications including hardening internal resistance from other Fed members.
It could cause immediate volatility across risk assets, but medium term reaction would be super bullish for BTC. Narrative would be the US is going full banana republic mode. Also Gold, CHF, and EUR would go up. USD craters. Negative for treasury bonds (yields up). Mixed for stocks. Should lead to a resurgence of the narrative that foreigners will pull their assets out of the US.

Good odds Back is the OG gigawhale. The 30k number and timing are uncanny. If this is correct, we have made it through the woods on this seller, which also means that was likely the local bottom and we will start moving higher.
What is amazing here is that nearly $10bn of BTC found a home within 24-36 hours. Take a step back and marvel at how insane that is. This is a testament to the breadth of demand rising up from all corners.
