I would like to announce that I am leaving Cosmos.
Every investor in the world has told me Cosmos is cursed. Only now do I understand why. Somehow, as soon as I said “Cosmos,” I was poor, instantly, and all my money had been transferred to a group of validators.
When I was in Ethereum and Solana, I was rolling in money. Users were dime a dozen, all I had to do was deploy a website and discord, and my application had instant PMF. Every shitcoin I launched went to $1bn+, without any effort.
In Cosmos, I have to do work, and it sucks. Obviously, I am brilliant - but the fact that the ecosystem does not recognize it and reward me is ridiculous.
It’s clear that all the users are on Solana. By that, I mean they reside, permanently inside the chain. They have no capability of using my app on Cosmos, even though it’s hosted on a normal website like all the Solana apps. By being on Solana, the users have suddenly noticed me, and I am successful. Because that’s how users work - they only care where you build something, not how good it is.
I would like you to please like and retweet this, because I haven’t gotten any attention in this ecosystem, and moving ecosystems is going to solve all my problems. Please notice me, because I will now be very successful once I’ve left Cosmos.
Good luck to all the builders still hanging around, I know you’ll be coming with me to the promiseland - Solana - very soon.

ethcc takeaway from a side-event organizer's perspective
cannes > paris > brussels: hosting @ethcc in the south of france was a risky move, but @ethereum_france pulled it off perfectly.
new cities come with a learning curve, and people had to get to know the venues. the conference and its side events will only get better next year.
the heat was a problem, but most places had a/c (we would have died in the paris heat wave).
the fud around venue costs was overblown. we rented one of the nicest locations in the city and came in under budget.
service culture in cannes is better than in paris due to the high concentration of wealth and luxury tourism.
cannes is a super walkable city. i blew past my daily step goals all week.
most people i spoke with had never been outside paris. i love that they got to discover more of what france has to offer.
hosting in a smaller city meant there were fewer side events, which i think contributed to a higher concentration of high-signal, low-noise gatherings.
it *felt* like there were fewer attendees than last year, but there was a high concentration of quality teams and builders.
one cannot experience france without a labor strike. setting that aside, getting in and out of nice was easy for folks from the us and europe.
massive congrats to @jdetychey @bettina_boon @malicec0 and team for being such amazing hosts and helping to build the future of france 🇫🇷
